Her story
Since the 1980s she has actively devoted herself to the figurative arts, althorugh since childhood she received the first rudiments of drawing from the painter and doctor Mastrobuono. Living abroad for many years, the contact with cities like London and Brussels, deeply affect her artistic evolution.
Her entire chromatic system changes and meeting in Brussels the Venetian painter Fazzini encourages her to continue the objectives of a committed artistic path and thus her first internships, first in Brussels and then, since 1992, in Rome.
She attends for three years the experimental university, then the popular university with trompe d'oeil courses for the definition of perspective-illusionistic techniques, coloristic techniques with acrylic paint, while at the same time engaging in techniques of plastering and decorative fresco. She attended courses and internships of clay and cellulose modeling and ceramic painting (third fire) at the C.E.R. in Rome and of engraving at the "Tracce" and "Per Inciso" chalcographic laboratories in Rome.
After passing the exams, she attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome for five years in the nude free school, experimenting and producing artwork in the technique of engraving, sculpture and painting with her masters Romanello, Marchese, Milia and Balestrelli. In recent years, she has consolidated her artistic career by receiving awards in important artistic events; participating in group exhibitions and personal expos, receiving positive feedback from critics and from the public and being awarded prizes.
Her artworks are found in private collections in Italy and abroad and one of her paintings is exhibited in the church of St. Ignazio da Loyola in Rome. Among her engravings "The Lovers" and "Rain in the woods" are part of the museum of engravings of the Municipality of Formello; "Libertà" was donated to the Municipality of Cerreto Laziale for the museum, twelve printed engravings are in the Prints and Drawings Department of the Museo Civico delle Cappuccine in Bagnacavallo and three are part of the Sartori Prints Collection in Mantua.
She returned to Brussels in 2009 for two important events: An Exhibition at the European Parliament and a Personal expo at the Italian Consulate which gave her great satisfaction.
